Most listings for a car hammock will tell you it's waterproof and heavy-duty. Ours tells you it's 52.3 inches wide, so you can hold that against your own back seat before you order. And where something won't suit your dog, the page says so — the classic hammock sags under a large dog where the hard-base version doesn't, and the soft carrier isn't guaranteed to clear your airline's cabin rules.
