65 dB is the manufacturer's rating, not something we've tested ourselves — for context, that's roughly normal conversation volume, genuinely quieter than most grooming vacuums. That said, individual dogs react to vibration and motor sound differently regardless of the decibel number. If your dog is noise-sensitive, introduce it switched off first and let them get used to the shape and the attachments before turning it on.
