Will it fit your car?

Two things decide it, and one of them we have to be honest about.

Headrests. This cover attaches by straps looped over the front and rear headrests. If your car has no rear headrests, or fixed one-piece sports seats with nothing to loop a strap around, it won't hold securely. Check this first — it's a yes/no, not a maybe.

Width. Our supplier does not publish an exact width for this cover, and we're not going to invent one. Being fabric, it has some give and follows the shape of the seat, so it is more forgiving than a rigid cover — but if you need to know before you buy that a cover will span your bench, order the Hard Base version instead. That one is 52.3 inches and we can tell you exactly whether it fits.

Classic or Hard Base?

The Classic is a fabric hammock that follows the shape of your seat — lighter, easier to fold away, and enough for most dogs. If your dog is heavy enough to sink into the fabric and brace on every corner, the Hard Base version adds a rigid PE foam floor, a footwell extension pad and a 400 lb rating for $99.99.
