A small harness-mounted pack your dog wears themselves, so the poo bags, treats and a folded water bowl travel on them instead of in your pockets. It clips on and off with a quick-release buckle, and the strap adjusts.

The supplier hasn't given us chest measurements for S and M, or a stated capacity for the panniers. We've asked, and we'll publish both here as soon as we have them. Until then, treat this as a small pack for small dogs — it's built around a puppy and small-breed harness, not a hiking pack for a shepherd.

Before you load it up

How much weight a dog can safely carry depends on their age, build, joint health and conditioning — it is not a fixed percentage, whatever you read online. Puppies and dogs still growing shouldn't carry loaded packs at all. If you're planning anything beyond a couple of light items on a normal walk, ask your vet first.

Start empty for a few walks so your dog gets used to the shape, then add weight gradually and evenly across both sides.

What it isn't

This is a walking accessory, not a car restraint. If you need something for the car, see our seat belt tether, and read the note there about why it attaches to a harness rather than a collar.
